And we're back!

It came!! The cord (to extract pictures from my camera) finally arrived today. (**a HUGE thank you to my sweet sweet hubby for questing after the correct cord to save me from my blogging withdrawal**) So, now we can move past the random and silly posts with other peoples' videos and pictures and get back to the random and silly posts with my own videos and pictures!

After two weeks, I have a few posts saved up, but I'll try not to go TOO crazy and tonight I'll only put up the most interesting one :)

The other week, for FHE, we decided to visit the next-door-neighborhood to experience this ice cream place that we'd heard about: iCream Cafe. I admit, I'm a big fan of ice cream shops and I'm always on the look out for new places to try. While I do like ice cream, I'm probably as much a fan of the experience as the treat; I'm especially tickled by those that are unusual, or have great atmosphere (my current favorite is Margie's, for its old-timey charm). iCream was equally fun, but in its own very special way.

This place definitely is going for a more modern look:

Here, you get to pick your type of ice cream, yogurt or sorbet, flavor, mix ins, and even color. They have an impressive selection and it's all natural. They even had soy ice cream. Yay!
Then, they'll mix it for you:

But the coolest part is that they freeze it, right there, with liquid nitrogen.

Sweeeeeeeeet.

He picked vanilla ice cream with white chocolate chips, granola and sprinkles and then he got it blue...

I picked pear soy ice cream with fresh raspberries and chocolate chips and got it green.

We were both well pleased.

Liquid nitrogen is cool stuff. One of my friends got some from the university and we made LN icecream when I was in college. But we didn't color it strangely cool colors.

That sounds cool!

Yeah, this place was pretty neat. I was kind of surprised how quickly the freezing process went. I'd go back again :)

Your brother sez "kati u r so weird pear icecream thats just nasty and i think u ruined the meaning of icecream just with ur pear soy stuff no this aint dad this is aj"

Me, I would also probably stick to the more traditional flavors and and colors. But it sounds like quite an adventure!

Well, they are stools, but I don't think they're the kind that typically frequents bathrooms....
