A good long while ago, I found a Lonely Limb of Plastic. It had some good adventures, Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4. Time passed and the Lonely Limb wandered off into the sunset and was lost from record.
Then, not too long ago, an Abandoned Amputated Arm asserted itself on my notice. It was a rainy summer's evening and the poor arm was just sitting on the side of the walk, nearly swallowed up in a puddle.
I rescued it and have been plotting its next adventure ever since. Finally, a day came that Townshend and I were heading downtown to have lunch with Hubby. We took the train, and The Arm came along for its first train ride.
Daytime trains aren't quite so busy. It was a while before anyone joined us in this car. In the freedom of the quiet car, The Arm did a little happy dance.
On our way to meet Hubby, we stopped for a photo with the Sears Tower. The Arm seemed impressed by the super tall building.
Our next stop was Hubby's office, where he took us around to meet a bunch of his coworkers who've been dying to meet Townshend.
While we were up there, we took a moment to appreciate the great view from the 62nd floor. Sadly, this was as close to the lake as The Arm got, but an impressive view all the same.
After a tasty lunch with Hubby, Townhend, The Arm and I headed back home. We finished off the adventure with one last train ride.
Where will The Arm visit next?

Cool! I've been thinking about starting a Flat Stanley we could mail around to each other and have Adventures with! Glad to see the Arm getting out?
Yes! I just have to remember to mail the silly thing to the next person :)
Are you aware that this poor, lonely limb is still sitting in the bottom of my camera case, waiting for its next adventure? I ought to dig it out some time and take it out for a good time!
Haha... it's a rough thing to photograph.. but it could be funny to bring it out into the world again :)
