More Summer Stuff

Recently, I learned about a new forest preserve not too far from us. They were having a nature class and so I packed us a lunch and headed over. I figured we'd visit the nature center first and then do a little exploring.

On our way there, the weather's 20% rain decided to show up. Still, we pushed on. After the class, we headed outside to explore. At first, it was just a little sprinkle that left some lovely droplets of water all around.

We found another story hike, though this one seemed to be missing much of the book. Still, we wandered down the path a little just to see.. so it still served its purpose; it got us walking.

However, before long, the rain got more serious, so we headed back to the car for our picnic under the hatch. It was actually a fun way to finish off our morning.

Yay for nature walks (even wet ones)!

Yay for nature walks! Usually 20% is safe but you never know. Looks like a fun time - Moon looks like he was really checking things close. A hands-on man. Good times!
