Dinosaurs!

So, I've been long under the impression that Chicago's Field Museum was just about plants and stuffed animals and, well, field stuff. Oh, and a skeleton of a T-Rex named Sue.
Based on the name, and the memories of my one time visit way back in high school, it seemed a reasonable conclusion to me! However, as it turns out, there's actually a great deal more there than just that.

My dear Hubby (a longtime Chicagoland resident) was appalled at my assumptions (based on my foggy recollections), and decided that we needed to visit the Field Museum, post-haste, to correct my perception of "Chicago's Museum". So we did!
And I loved it. There really is so much to see! Too much even for an entire day spent walking the halls, drinking in the sights. But we saw a lot!
I just love dinosaur bones. I think it's so great that we have these fossils and remnants of ages past to study and learn about. It's fascinating!
I'd totally go back again!
