Hot Chocolate Shindig

So, we had some friends over last night to play games and enjoy some hot chocolate and tasty, tasty goodies from the Bleeding Heart, Punk Rock Bakery. A while back I had gotten a sweet deal (hooray for Groupon!) on a variety pack from that, my favorite bakery, so I decided that having people over for games would be a great time to cash in on that deal.
Before the party, I set out all the pastries on a platter and fully intended to take pictures of the delightful array, but completely forgot. D'oh! Well, with or without pictures, we had a wonderful evening!
And, while I had intended this Hot Chocolate and Pastry Shindig of ours to break the trend of snowy posts here on my blog, alas, all I have to offer to make up for the lack of pastry photos are more pictures of the snow that, still, is ever present.
Still... despite the windchills and the coldness, it is awful pretty, no?

It was a blast! We had a great time.

Don't worry about the pictures, now the people who didn't come can only imagine the wonderful food and company they missed out on. :)

I like your snowy pictures - I've always likes winter landscapes. And your party sounds like a blast, too. Lots of times when you talk about a shop you've fallen in love with it makes me wish I could visit it.
