This past weekend, my mom drove down from Wisconsin to visit my Hubby and me. She wasn't in town long, but we had plenty of fun all the same!
We played some games, rode the El, went on a walking tour of our neighborhood where we came upon some modern art:
... I think it was an advertisement. Very eye catching indeed!
We also took her out for some gelato at this new place I've been wanting to try out. Yum!!
We were glad she came.
