Yeah.. it looks more like a brontosaurus to me.. this is what one historian said regarding his choice for the shape:
"The shape of Flamingo alludes to the natural and animal realm, which is a stark contrast to more literal interpretations in sculpture from previous decades"
... I'm not sure that cleared anything up for me, but it was created in 1973, so I just chalk it up to "Modern Art"

Nice, went back for more dessert! Always my favorite!
It was definitely worth a second trip. The peanut butter gelato was probably the very best thing that I tasted there.... MMMmmmmmm :)
