Hooray for Long Weekends

For the holiday weekend, my hubby and I headed out of the city to hang out with my family up in Wisconsin. It was a good time :)

We visited the Riverfront Rendezvous -

Climbed on Ship Rock -

Stachelbeere gets the prize for going the highest

yep.. that's Stachelbeere up there between the two towers..
we were all very impressed

This is to give a little more perspective..he was really high!


And of course there were fireworks..

..playing Chrononauts while waiting for the show to begin...

...it was an impressive show!!

The weather was just gorgeous all weekend.. I was struck by how beautiful that area is -
