Migration Patterns

In every household there are those items that seem to have the ability to move on their own. Sometimes it's one's keys that never seem to be where you left them, or that pesky sock that gets lost in the wash. At our house, it's our remotes. They generally don't get lost; they never leave the living room.. but, within that sphere they're rarely in the same location twice.

This evening, as I was walking through the living room, I noticed that, after various uses throughout the day, they'd ended up in this formation:

One cushion each. Now that's livin' in style.

It takes patience and sharpened powers of observation in order to track the migratory patterns of the elusive remove!

I know! I was lucky to have caught them in that formation before they moved on and the moment was lost :)

You know if you just made a rule about putting things away when you're done with them, this never would have happened.
