In My Own Little Corner, In My Own Little Chair

Way back when I was decorating a room for Townshend, I bought this pair of prints from an artist on Etsy. I just love these birds! The vintage maps are of Chicago, and the simple birds really appeal to me. 

For a long time, these birds hung over the door in Townshend's room.. but in our new place, I didn't really think they went with the new color in his current room. Plus, I still like them a ton and I wanted them to be in a space where I could enjoy them more often. 

And here they are! Paired with my new sweet sweet hanging lantern lamp, they make for a wonderfully cozy spot to unwind from the day (even more so once the boxes are gone).
