I was chatting with one of my coworkers the other day and the conversation turned to tv shows of our childhood. We reminisced about
Smurfs,
The Jetsons and
Snorks and a whole lot of others. It was then that I discovered that she had never heard of
Fraggle Rock! This of course was unacceptable to me so, to remedy the situation, I lent her my copy of the first season.
But that got me thinking about the show and all the fabulous songs that the Fraggles just make up on the spot... they're great! So, I thought I'd share a few of my favorites.

I always thought the Trash Heap was cool and so wise. I love, love, LOVE Fraggle Rock and am surprised that there are people out there who don't know what the show is. I loved Uncle Traveling Matt and of course, Sprocket the dog. So fun!! Red was my favorite Fraggle. I loved her spunkiness. Go Fraggles!!
Amen sista!
Soooo much goodness :)
Cool! I never thought to look for seasons of the Fraggles. I think I'm going to have to add that to my wish-list! They are, indeed, the epitome of awesome. Plus, Monkey would love all the singing.
Yep yep! It's my understanding that there were four seasons worth of Fraggle Rock. Though, my hubby was saying the other day that they released the first three seasons individually, but the fourth is only available in a set of all four. Stinkers.
Still, I'm perfectly happy with just the one.. it's great!
