2009 has come and gone.. it's kind of crazy to think about how much has happened and still it seems to have kinda zoomed by! (I suppose that's what it is to get old..) But, here we are again on the day that marks the second year that I've been blogging. Good times good times.
Since it's been a few months, and it seems like a nice tradition to continue, I've decided that, in honor of yet another year of having had an outlet for sharing the random and silly things that have gone on in my life, I am going to have a cookie give-away!
So! All you've got to do is comment on this post and tell me what you liked best about this past holiday season. Enter your comment by 11:59pm on January 9, 2010 and you'll be in the running to get some cookies in the mail. It'll be your choice of cookie: my classic Snickerdoodles, my recent re-creation of my grandma's Chocolate Surprises or a brand-new recipe I've just been introduced to: Double Peanut Butter Cookies.

Oh, that'd be awesome! You always make great cookies. I'm thinking my favorite thing was seeing everyone that came up for a visit. That's such a lovely part. Of course, watching Monkey open his presents was also pretty fun!
Yeah.. lots of family visiting was definitely very nice! And Monkey is definitely cute when he gets excited :)
I think my favorite part was NOT being rushed with my hubby's PARENTS schedule for Christmas eve/day. As sad as it might seem, it was nice to do what WE wanted to do WHEN we wanted...even if that meant just relaxing at home.
Mmm.. that's what I love doing best on vacation... spending time doing whatever I want :) Glad you were able to get some!!
Best part about my holidays was being able to stay cooped up in the house for days at a time without having to go anywhere! Cookies here i come!
Definitely a good idea, it's been so cold!
I was a fan of seeing the Redwoods for the first time over the holidays. Hooray for cookies!
Wohoo! I've heard great things :) Hopefully I'll get to see some soon.. maybe even May!
Me, too! Me, too! And make sure I win this time!
Haha! Ok.. I'll see what I can do ;)
what i loved most was the small quiet moments, when the real reason for the season shines through. I had to pull my car over one night because ave maria came on and it was just so beautiful.
That's very cool.. thanks!
Miss Kate!
Happy Blogiversary!! You are definately one of my favorite people.
Favorite holiday moment: my niece came running in to the house shedding boots, coat, scarf, gloves, and snow all over and said "I brought you a Christmas Present!"
"Really? what is it?" I said.
She came running at me, jumped in my lap and gave me a huge long hug.
That and other moments with my nieces/nephews. Kids make Christmas magical.
Best wishes!
Awww!! Yeah, nieces and nephews are great to have around :) I recently acquired a new niece and I can't wait to meet her!
