Long Weekend Fun!

I love long weekends. In general, my weekends are very precious. Sure you can squeeze in lots of important and even fun things on week nights, but Saturday is really the only day I can set aside for doing just whatever I want.. and there are only 4 a month and they fill up really quickly. However, when you have a long weekend, you get an extra day to play!

Of course, open time is like a vacuum and so long weekends often are busy weekends.. but I like it best that way!

On this long weekend, we had some family over and enjoyed a fondue feast:

Later, we took a trip downtown:

went on a "car" ride:

"We just drove to Home Depot
where I will go buy soda."

"Ok. I just got the soda,
now we will drive to Copps
for more soda."

Just got chewed out for not leaving the "car" in park while
The Nephew got out to get more soda.

Once we got out of the "car" we went on to see other sights:

In all our wanderings, we kept trying to see American Gothic (for me) but getting turned around...
