Fruition

So, way back in March, I hatched this scheme to add some spice to our .5 bathroom. Recently I set to work on this long anticipated project and, after several days and 126 bubbles, it is now complete!
I am quite pleased.

Here it is Pre-Painting; everything's all set up,
well protected and ready to begin

This is after the first day.. the first two shades of blue are up..

The two colors meet about halfway up the wall..
the blending process was done by hand, with a rag..

This was a messy messy process.. but oh so much fun!!
The paint got all over.. even in my hair (and on my nose)

Here's the completed project.. including the shelf, fish vase and bubbles.

And some detail shots of the bubbles:

Yay!!

I dunno.. if I came out there to do this to your bathroom, it would greatly complicate my ability to be very social :)

I think your bubbles turned out really good! Do any fishies?

Nope.. no painted fishies, just the vase that looks like a fish. I considered painting a coral reef or something, but decided that there just wasn't enough space (plus it'd be a LOT of work and I was running out of vacation) :)
