We've had a lot of rain recently, and so I was a little worried that there might still be lots of mud, but things were pretty dry all around. Dry enough that we decided to take a break from our walking to introduce Townshend to grass. (though, to be safe, we went to the top of the hill)
At first he was a little tentative.. but it didn't take long for him to be more investigative.
Turns out, the top of that hill was a great place for people watching.. basketball players, dog-walkers, and a cute little couple canoodling by some trees.
Perhaps, if I had my own lawn, I might feel differently, but I have an affection for dandelions; they are such hardy little plants! And they are cute.
Really, they remind me a little of squirrels; squirrels can be at home pretty much anywhere!
Then, it was home again, home again, jiggity jig jig.

What fun! Introducing babies to grass is always so funny! And people watching is always a treat. Looks like a lovely trip.
Oh, the things you can see in the park! Sounds like a really fun time!
