Tomato Blooms!
I've been watching my little patio garden as it blooms (or, in the case of some of the pansies, not blooming) but the tomato is really flourishing! It's getting super huge and this past weekend I noticed a bunch of blossoms!
Hopefully it continues to thrive and, before too long, I hope to find some little tomatoes growing!
When your tomato plant blooms like that, you should go out and gently tap it, or shake it, so the pollen will pollinate the flowers and little tomatoes will grow. They are self pollinating, so a little tapping will get those cute little tomatoes growing. :)
Congrats on the tomatoes! Re the pansies that aren't currently blooming: They tend to go dormant in the hot weather; just pinch them back, keep them watered and hopefully you'll have blooms in late Sept. or Oct! Good luck!

Hurray!! My pansies aren't blooming either. But I do have peppers in my garden. Tiny ones, about the size of my thumb. =] YUM.
Nice!! Sweet peppers or hot ones?

Oooh.. excellent suggestion! I'm off to do that right now!
