I can't say that I've been with the show all six years, but I think three is enough to qualify me as a fan.
As for the ending.. well, without going into any spoilerific details, let me just say that the ending is true to form. It wasn't nearly as awful as I hear the Sopranos finale was.. however, they definitely didn't tie everything up in a neat little bow. And that's ok; it wouldn't be LOST if they answered ALL the questions that were posed.
The finale wasn't a final episode to leave a scream reverberating into space.. No, all in all, I'd say it was just about right.
As for what I'm going to do with my Tuesday nights going forward? Heh.. well, my hubby has been so very stalwart about not watching any episodes and not learning about what's been going on; holding out to see what the reception of the final episode would be. Now that he knows, we'll start watching it together. My seeing it again with more knowing eyes and him for the first time; episode by episode.
It's going to be great!
