While, there are ways that we are very similar - we both are very excited about getting married:

Still, in general, in all of the wild activity that is the preparation for something as momentous as a wedding, I have decided that weddings bring out the crazy in people. This often manifests in some ways that are highly entertaining, and sometimes in others that are less positive. But in all this pre-wedding preparing and planning there have been certain areas where it is strikingly clear: women are decidedly different than men.
First, there's the wedding outfit: dress versus the tux. Now, don't get me wrong, there are definitely lots and lots options for both the bride and the groom, some better than others. Observe:

But, somehow, the choices seem a little less nebulous for the guys.
Another area where these differences seem quite apparent is the ever burning question: What should I do with my hair??
Again, this seems a bigger question for the bride than for the groom. There are just so many options.. and they're all so involved! But it must be remembered that this is a hair-do that will adorn mantle places for years to come. It will be captured in the seventy billion pictures that undoubtedly will be taken and recorded for posterity. So, I decided I would try out a couple styles before making the final decision that will ultimately go down in history on The Big Day.
I did a little research online to see what sort of possibilities are out there. There were definitely some eye-catchingly memorable ones:


But in the end, I opted to try this one for starters:

I would tell John to go with a comb that stands out a little less, like maybe a pale blue color.

Now we have videos of each of you shaking your heads, unsure of what to think of the situation. This is so fun! Sounds like you are taking your mother-in-law's advise. She'd be tickled.
Weddings can definitely make you a little crazy. I think he should go with Exhibit 2- classy!;)
