The good news is that the little guy is getting big enough that we can be out longer and even condense our weekly errands a bit. This has made it possible to have more free mornings to do fun things!
Here are some favorites from recent days:
There's a conservatory that lets you enjoy the sunshine without the windchill. It's like a slice of summer. I'm always glad for our sunny visits:
Though, just 'cuz it's chilly doesn't mean we hafta say inside! Here we braved the cool (though, unseasonably warm for February) temperatures. What is it that they say, there's no bad weather, only bad clothing, right?
And of course, a favorite for the boys, the zoo! And our zoo has some lovely indoor exhibits that are fun to visit, especially this time of year. I always have to tear them away.. though, I tell myself that one day we'll be able to stay long enough they'll be ready to go when it's time. Still, fun!

Oh, I so hear you. Kinda jealous... those look like some awesome activities, and we're pretty well grounded by the stomach flu right now.
Eeww! So sorry to hear about the flu.. we had a bout with that a few weeks ago. May yours pass through your house quickly and be gone!
I hadn't realized the zoo there had those "hands-on" exhibits! One of these days when we're in the neighborhood we gotta go there again with you! That sounds like a fun day!
Those look like such fun excursions! I love those two little guys! They are adorable!
