Monsters and Mummies

So, in lieu of a Halloween party this year, I had a baby contest on Facebook and made Halloween cake pops to send to the winners. This was probably a more major project than was wise to take on in the first few weeks of adjusting to a little one at home but, darn it, it's Halloween! So, I made it work.

Though, truth be told, I had some help. My mom and one of my sisters came down to meet and hang out with little Townshend, and while my Mom was getting her Grandma fix, I put my sister to work. We got so far as to make the cake into balls, but not quite to the decoration stage.

Then, later, while my Hubby and Townshend were enjoying some bonding time, I put the finishing flourishes on. They turned out so fun! Today, I mailed them out to the winners.
