More Table Fun

So, this little table (destined for my deck) had a broken leg:
Initially, I thought I could just apply some wood glue and voila! it'd be all better. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I'd glue it and any small bump or jostle would break it apart again. For an outside table, this would never do.
So, I decided that it needed a new, internal wooden peg attached to ensure it's longevity. Happily, we keep a little box of all the miscellaneous parts left over from furniture we've assembled and we had an extra wooden peg.
I drilled a hole on either side of the broken table part, chiseled down the wooden peg to fit within and cut it to size. Then, once all the pieces fit together nicely, I glued the whole thing together and voila! the table is sturdier than ever!

Next is the glass mosaic for the top.. here's a preview, but even now it's only partially finished, due to a lack of sufficient glass bits. Craft Store, here I come!
