It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

Traditionally, our tree and decorations go up the first Saturday in December. However, this year things didn't go quite according to tradition.
See, what happened was just this: We came home one Sunday, the last weekend of November, to a huge puddle in our kitchen. Upon further inspection, we discovered a pretty constant drip coming from our ceiling. We put out a bucket to catch the drips (which spouted into a second place of drips, then turned to a steady stream), wiped up the floor and contacted our neighbors and landlord to see about stopping the water and fixing the damage.
Happily, the stopping only took a couple hours. However, the fixing took a little longer than that. Consequently, our tree didn't go up until part-way through the second week of December. (Still, not too shabby, all things considered)
But now, our tree is up, presents are packed up and ready to ship to family all over the country and we're feeling pretty festive and Christmasy around here. I love it!

And what a great season it is!

You're tree is such a vast improvement from our lamp post tree a few years back. :)

Heh.. Yeah. Still, I'll always get a warm fuzzy every time I think about our little college tree :)
