Reunions

My family has always been a mobile sort of group. While I was living with my folks, we lived in four different states and (at least) eight different houses. Moving out hasn't done anything to change that trend and, since moving out, I've lived in two additional states and too many apartments to count and, really, the rest of my family isn't much different. We're spread all over the U.S.; we have splinter groups in California, Wisconsin and Illinois; and one of my brothers just spent two years in Colorado serving a full-time mission. However, this past weekend, we had a full-on sibling reunion when we were able to ALL came together and gather at The Parents' house. It was wonderful!

Meeting our Missionary brother was rather a big deal. It'd been 2 years since we'd seen him and we were excited for him to be back! So, wanting to display our exuberance and happiness in seeing him, much effort went into beautifying the The Parents' home...

Finally, all was prepared and we congregated at the airport to await his arrival.

Of course, we couldn't let the opportunity pass to get a picture to document that we were indeed all in one place all at one time....

And, it wouldn't be a proper sibling reunion without a little singing. Though, sadly, we weren't actually able to have everybody there for the singing... but it was well documented as well :)

That is way cool! I like the movie of the song! We gotta get our piano tuned - we'd have had a much better chance of having everyone here for the singing if we'd had the paino tuned. It was great to have everyone here!

Yeah.. the movie was good.. we had a great filmer :)

Maybe we should start a campaign to talk all the sibs into pitching in and we can get the piano tuned for Christmas.... That would rock!

That was so great!!! I agree, tuning the piano is something that needs to be done. I have really missed having all that beautiful music in my home!! :)
