Yay Christmas!

I may be all graduated, grown-up and married, but this was the first year I didn't spend the holidays at home with (the bulk of) my immediate family. We're all pretty tight, so I must admit that I was just a little nervous about trying out a new setting and new traditions, but as it turns out, my fears were completely unfounded. We had a wonderful Christmas!

Christmas Eve was chill; we relaxed, enjoyed some home-made sweets, chatted and, just in general, got to know each other better.

We even had some beautiful piano playing of Christmas songs.

On Christmas morning we had a delicious breakfast of crepes with Nutella....

...Mmmmmm mmmmm good!

Later came some crazy fun:

Then again, at our own home:

Good times good times :)

(silly me took the video sideways and couldn't figure out how to alter the ratios once i rotated it, so forgive the weird proportions here)

This week has been a blast, but we are most grateful for that wonderful gift of our Savior. Christmas is all about remembering the birth and life of Jesus Christ and we are so glad to have been able to share this special time with those we love.
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
