So, despite having lived in Chicago for some time now, there are still a few touristy things on my list of "Things To Do Before I Die"; namely, ice skate in Millennium Park. However, this past Monday, for a joint FHE, I was able to knock that right off the list. We of the Chicago north met with those of the Chicago south and went skating at Millennium Park. Good times good times.

Hehe.. not so much graceful, but it was a good time :)
In addition to the magic of ice skating, Millennium Park recently opened up a winter art gallery near the rink with an exhibit called "Paintings below Zero". This is a very large "ice painting". Not sure what that might entail, while we were in the area anyway, my friend and I went to check it out:

Awww, ice skating at Milennial Park! David says to say that "magic happens there." ;)
That looks like fun! Maybe next time I come I'll bring my skates & we can go skating! The ice-sculpture thingy is pretty neat looking too.
The skating is open until March 16th.. come on down!!
