More on Halloween!

The beauty of having Halloween at the end of the month is that it gives me a good while to slowly put up my decorations. I admit that, while I said there'd be no decorations before Townshend's b-day, it's turned into: No decorations upstairs before the birthday.. I just couldn't stand the wait, and he won't mind.

So! Here's what's been going on over here:

First, inspired by this I found on Pinterest, with my little helper, I created some great over-the-door decorations.

And here they are in place:

I absolutely love how these turned out! They will definitely be a staple for our outdoor decorations!

Secondly, some excellent front-window decor, also inspired by the internets. I wasn't very good about taking pictures during the creation, so you'll just have to use your imagination for how the cutting and stuff went, but here's the final result:

I think I used too much tissue paper for the eyes since you can't see through them very well.. I'm considering just removing it altogether. And maybe adding some yarn cobwebs around the monsters. We'll see what the next couple weeks bring!
