I was feeling a little sleepy earlier.....

... but then I took a walk on my lunch break. Looking out the window (through the blinds, through the attorney's office) it looked pretty nice! They had been calling for scattered thunderstorms for today, but my area-partner had just come back from her lunch break with news of how nice it was outside, so I thought it'd be fine to go check it out too! And so I did.

It was a nice walk; brisk paced and I went for a good while before turning around. As I was heading back, I stopped for a moment in the Thompson Center and then, when I came out the other side, it had started sprinkling.. so I walked quickly, but not quickly enough. The rain was coming down with increasingly larger droplets as I walked and, within a block of my building, it started POURING. I ran the last half block, but I'm still rather wet (and glad that i wear undershirts!)
